Southeast Weather Disturbance
As you are likely aware, we are experiencing inclement weather, heavy rain, severe thunderstorms, and significant flooding due to a southeastern weather disturbance.
We are urging everyone to stay put and off of the roads until such time that it is safe to do otherwise. Many of our local roads and are impassable or blocked to travel due to the flooding and heavy ponding. The Town of Oak Island has also closed the GV Barbee Bridge due to the weather.
MRA Operations
Like many businesses in the area, we are in the process of amending our operations to ensure the safety of our staff. We have removed all maintenance technicians from the roads, and will assess reported emergency situations on a case-by-case basis. If you experience an emergency, we ask that you call 800-486-5441 and follow the prompts to report it.
If any operational aspects are affected for the remainder of the week, we will update that information here and will communicate with guests through email and or text message. As a result, we urge guests to be mindful of any communications from our office.
