Overall

We would like to thank both Margaret Rudd and especially the owners of Sun Princess for a Fantastic Ocean Front Vacation! The house is so spacious and beautiful. A matter of feet from the beach! Love having both covered porch as well as a deck. Felt safe knowing we could let our dogs outside on the decks and that they couldn't get loose due to the gates. We have been staying at another house for the last 5 years or so, yet have already reserved Sun Princess for next year. Our new home away from home!

Overall

Wonderful house! One of our favorites for sure. Only one suggestion...the small area around the house had very tall, knee high grass. A good trim and lawn maintenance would've made this a perfectly no complaint review...Although this was more annoyance than a true complaint. We love Oak Island ❤

Overall

Great house but if you have trouble navigating stairs there are a lot of those. Very clean with great ocean views. Would stay here again!

Overall

What a nice little jewel. This cottage has high ceilings with WONDERFUL high windows and such nice decor. The front den area is so open and bright giving you a great view of the ocean. We have 5 adults and rarely find a house that has adequate seating for everyone. The seating in this house is perfect. We have never rented a house with a kitchen so fully stocked with everything you might need. Plenty pots and pans, and baking dishes. The ability to have a deck and screened porch is a bonus. The deck is gated so it is was perfect for our dog. It did have a dog odor when we arrived, the rugs probably need to be cleaned. This is an annual trip for us and we try to pick a different spot each year but this house is on our list as maybe our annual spot.

Outdoor shower needed.

Overall

There is only an outdoor spigot, no hose, no shower. If we brought out dog how would we wash them off? Very hard with kids and sand toys too. Other than that, nice house.
