"Lindleys" is a great four-bedroom beach cottage located in the East Beach area of Oak Island. The oceanfront screened rocking chair porch is an absolute perfect place for watching the waves roll in and enjoying all the sights and sounds of the beach (without the bugs!). The home has an open floor plan in the main living area with two ocean-side bedrooms that open to the porch as well as an open deck with furniture for your convenience. A BBQ grill is provided for family cookouts - the perfect way to end to end a perfect beach day!

Nice clean cottage

Overall

We enjoyed our time at Lindleys! The oceanfront cottage had everything we needed. We enjoy many cooked meals in the neat and organized kitchen. The screened in porch with nice outdoor furniture was a great plus. There was also a nice washer and dryer in a great space under the house to which we took advantage of. The bedrooms were great for the most part. Some of the bed pillows could use updating. The oven could also use a good cleaning. My only other complaint would be the amount of sand under the house but I realize it is left over from recent hurricanes and difficult to remove down to the original gravel. Overall, it was a great stay and we appreciated the amenities and resources the house had to offer for our yearly family vacation to Oak Island! Thank you for letting us use your rental!

Bobbi, thank you for the detailed review. We are so happy you enjoyed the organized kitchen and porches! We will pass along the information about replacing the pillow as well as make sure the oven is in good shape. Thank you for you understanding about the sand under the house. Hurricane Isaias put all the dunes directly under the houses and onto the roads. While we were able to clean up some of it the town and engineers would only allow so much sand to be moved and our goal is to keep the island and homes protected. We are happy to have helped build great memories for your family!

Overall

The blinds in the 2 back bedrooms need replaced. Can't close or open plus lots of sunlight in the morning. Great Place! Everything else is wonderful!
