Right out of the parking lot to straight thru the traffic light. Just past the curve, the Oak Island Villas are on the right. Take the first entrance, and proceed to the 1300 Bldg. Units are numbered.

I walked on the seemingly endless beach in both directions to appreciate the beauty of the ocean. Perfect for me during the winter season without many tourists on the beach. I also visited nearby historical sites and tourist places. All rooms are very clean and pleasantly arranged. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and baking with new appliances.

Location is perfect – on the second level and right on the beach, with excellent views from the large patio and from indoors. The weather was chilly, but the views were beautiful and there was plenty to do inside – the place is equipped with games, books, puzzles, a huge TV in the living room and one in each bedroom, and high-speed WiFi. It’s clear that the condo has been renovated since the negative review was posted last year. Dining room table and chairs appear new, new recliner and seating in the living room, and issues with screen door and rail have been repaired. The new kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, with quality appliances and lots of cabinet and counter space. Everything was very clean and very kid-friendly space, complete with a pack and play! We will definitely be back.

The views from the master bedroom and the living room are outstanding and it's wonderful to open the sliding doors and listen to the waves from both rooms. Kitchen is well-appointed. We enjoyed our stay so much. Only small negative: the vertical blinds are a bit problematic to open. Otherwise, it's perfect! Hope to return in the future!

The extra wide balcony is a definite plus and has a beautiful view. It’s length provides enough room to spread out and relax at the patio table or the chaise lounge. The Master bedroom has beautiful sunrise views and a screened door that allowed us to listen to the waves at night.The internet was fast and allowed my husband and I to be on simultaneous video conference calls with no issue. When the weather was warm enough, I could use the outdoor outlet and patio table to work outside and enjoy the sound of the waves. We even saw some dolphins while sitting on the balcony. A lot of beach condos are older and this unit has clearly been renovated. I appreciated the fully stocked (pots,pans,etc) kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every day. I enjoyed the beachy feel and decor throughout the condo. We also appreciated the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit. I recommend this unit and will be staying there on my next trip to OI.

We had 3 adults in the condo and we enjoyed our time there! The sunset is beautiful from the balcony. We cooked dinner in the kitchen one night and we had all the right supplies. We spent our afternoon in Southport, which is about 15 minutes' drive from the condo, and loved the town! The beach is right outside and it has so much natural beauty. Each room has a TV and the bathrooms are clean and nice too. I would recommend staying here!
