Right out of the parking lot to straight thru the traffic light. Just past the curve, the Oak Island Villas are on the right. Take the first entrance, and proceed to Bldg. 1000. Units are numbered.

Reviewed on 2022-06-26 by Ann , Stanley , NCOak Island Beach Villa 1007 is a great unit with a nice ocean view. It appears to have been remodeled recently. The kitchen was very well equipped. The washer and dryer were very nice and the relocated position is much better than the original. One thing I especially liked was the minimal number of "knick knacks" sitting around. When we rented the unit, there was no DVD player as listed in the amenities, but we didn't need it. The drapes in this unit are preferable to the vertical blinds some other units have. We didn't use the secondary bathroom but the primary bathroom was very nice. The owners get kudos for having 3 towel bars and 2 hooks in the bathrooms. They also get major kudos for the killer medicine cabinets in both bathrooms plus the vanity with drawers! Enough space to store all the toiletries! The only downside for us was that there is no shelve or niche in the primary shower on which to put soap, shampoo, etc. The only space for those items inside the shower was the corners of the floor. Also, when wet, we found the primary shower floor was very slick. But those downsides were overcome and we enjoyed our stay very much. I would definitely rent unit 1007 again.

Deck furniture was great and a nice place to hang with coffee/cocktails and hear the surf, watch the birds. Couch was comfortable. TV had plenty of channel selections. Great artwork was a bonus for a beach rental. There is also a convenient storage locker on the ground floor to store beach gear.Downside: The queen bed is a little too soft for our taste. The living room could use a comfortable chair or two to go along with the couch as there is not enough comfortable seating for 4 people.Overall this is a very nice and comfortable condo. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

The Oak Island Beach Villas are an oceanfront condominium complex located on historic Caswell Beach, offering eleven oceanfront buildings and five buildings with an ocean view. Two and three bedroom, individually decorated units are available to accommodate the size of your family. The community offers many amenities such as a centrally located pool right in front of the 600 building, walkways down to the beach throughout the community, outside showers at each building, ample parking, a recreation area and designated grilling areas. For the golf lover, Oak Island Beach Villas are located just across the road from the Oak Island Golf Course and Country Club.
**Please note that the Oak Island Beach Villas is a non-smoking, non-vaping condominium community. Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted on any of the common grounds, inside individual units or on private exterior balcony areas. In addition, the community does NOT allow golf cart, boat, water motor craft, trailer or RV parking. Violations will be towed at guest expense. Please call our office to confirm if a particular parking situation is allowed prior to your arrival.**

The people at MARGARET Rudd was very polite and friendly and helpful. The place I stayed at 1007 was clean, had everything you needed for the kitchen and had a beautiful ocean/ beach view seating on the balcony. there was a breeze blowing on the balcony all the time making it very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time!
