Conveniently located in East Beach, "Fringe Benefits" is a lovely five bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home near Ocean Crest Fishing Pier and a short drive from the restaurants, shops, public parks and grocery store on the island.
The home's spacious floor plan perfectly accommodates casual relaxation with its large main living area and fifth bedroom organized as a second living space (complete with queen sofa-bed). Families with children will enjoy time spent together with a board game or puzzle. Fringe Benefits freshly painted interior and cool coastal carpets bring the beach feel right into the home.
For those gorgeous Oak Island days, guests may venture out to spend a few hours along our scenic beaches, or they may enjoy the cool refreshment offered by Fringe Benefits' private pool. For your convenience, the home provides a deluxe enclosed outdoor shower complete with changing area to rinse those sandy toes before heading inside, and a gas grill that is available for use. Vacationers can also savor a sunrise or sunset from either of the home's two covered ocean side porches or its rear deck.

A vacation in the middle of a pandemic with 3 families coming together was a bit nerve racking but Fringe Benefits made it all work out. The pool was a nice respite from the beach and there was plenty of room for all of us. Beach access is right across the streets so we didn't really need the golf carts we rented but enjoyed riding around in them anyway.
