We have been going to the Island for 60 years, a tradition my 91 year old Grandfather & his sister started. The pictures don't do it justice, much nicer in person. The house is laid out so there are 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom on each side with a door to the hallway. It was a perfect layout for our family of 14. The couples with no kids in the smaller rooms & the families of 5 in the bigger rooms. When we arrived there were a few cleaning issues, but after a quick phone call two woman came out to correct the issues. Right across from beach access, big top deck, huge dinning table to fit 14 of us was excellent. We had a wonderful week , and know you will too.

Great location to fishing and sorest beach access. We had 22 people and 3 houses rented for this years family trip.The downside to this home is there is a private residence on the lower level which is not mentioned and a detached garage that the neighbors have keys to. If you mind having people on the property that are not Margaret Rudd affiliated, this may not be the home for you. I like to have some privacy on my vacations and not walk out in the morning to strangers in the yard.We have rented from Margaret Rudd for many years and will continue to do so, just not this home.

As an added bonus, there are sound views on the rear of the house! The home features spacious kitchen and living areas and direct beach access across the street. It is also only 1 block to the marina and restaurant and a short bike ride to the point - one of Oak Islands best kept secrets for shelling, swimming and sunsets! This 4 bedroom rental sleeps up to 14 comfortably and has 2 full baths - making it great for large families.
