There were empty drawers we could put our clothes in and the kitchen actually had pots and pans, dishes, and utensils that were organized and clean. It was a very nice unit, one of the nicest we've rented from Margaret Rudd. Some additional deep cleaning could have been done. There was heavy amounts of dust on top of dressers, the refrigerator, and the stands that held the equipment for the tv, but this place was definitely cleaner and more organized than other places we stayed.

We loved this condo. It was a good size for our family. It's within driving distance of many restaurants and in close proximity to the pools and beach. The pools area 3-5 minute walk and the beach is about a 10 minute walk when you are lugging all the beach stuff and have little ones. I would recommend renting a golf cart if at all possible. The walk is shorter when you're not carrying the daily beach gear but overall isn't a bad walk. I appreciated the cleanliness upon arrival and the keyless entry as that made arrival so much easier than having having to make a stop at the rental office. This condo has a home like feel. TVs in three out of four bedrooms was also a plus. This was our first time visiting Oak Island and we will be back.
