Atlantic View is a charming 2nd Row Beach Rental in West Beach Oak Island NC. The home is located on a corner lot with a beach access directly across the street. It has great ocean views and marsh views from the spacious porch and deck - furnished for your relaxation!

Ground Level: The ground level features covered parking with an exterior stairway entrance to the main level. There is also an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water.

Main Level: All rooms are located on this level and include two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen and living room. On the ocean side of the home, there is a covered porch and a sundeck. On the rear of the home is a sundeck as well.

Overall

Very sweet little place. Really enjoyed our stay. The weather was nice, not to hot. No rain till Friday. One beautiful week at your place. Just walking across the street to the beach was GREAT. Been coming to Oak Island for over 20 years, one of our BEST vacations yet... does need some updating.. Thank You.. Cathy and Dave Mansfield

Even Better the Second Time Around

Overall

This was our second time staying here (see review below), and it's still great. They have WiFi now, and the TV has a variety of streamng services if you want to watch your favorites in the evening or on a rainy day. Be sure to log out when you leave and change your passwords when you get home so some stranger's not up in your account. The weather was terrific, and we love that short walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

Classic Beach House

Overall

Snug, cozy, place with a classic beach house feel. GREAT front porch. Furniture is old but comfy. Everything works. Good water pressure. There's a roomy space below where you can sling your hammock and nap in the ocean breeze. The location right across from the access means that you actually have a shorter walk to the beach than some of the front row houses (apparently the walkways going all the way to the sand across the dune/berm are a thing of the past, which is understandable). We had a great time, and as always, Margaret Rudd was a joy to work with. Recommended.

Overall

Pros: Location is the best thing about this house! Easy walk over to beach and you have a fantastic view from the front porch! Cons: Beware there is no wifi at this house. It rained for 2 days straight which brought in the water bugs a lot. House didn't seem like it had been vacuumed when we arrived, but we were just happy to be at the beach! We go to Oak Island every year and we love it!

We are happy to read that you enjoyed the location of this home but we do apologize for the items listed as Cons you experienced. You are correct in that this property does not have WiFi available. If WiFi is a feature that is important to you, please note that we do list "WiFi" under the Entertainment section of the Amenities tab on each of our individual property pages of the website. With regard to the water bugs, it is not shocking that you would see the water bugs after a big rain; however, any time you experience this we do encourage you to contact the office so that we can dispatch a pest company to handle the issue. While we can't always control that, we will attempt to as we want our guests to be comfortable where they are staying - whether it's rained or not. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you think of anything else to report, and if you would like assistance in finding a home with WiFi for your next vacation.
